How to Update Apple Trader Compliance in the EU

apple trader compliance

As of October 16, 2024, if your organization has not completed the verification of your trader status in App Store Connect, whether you are a trader or not, you will not be able to submit updates or create new apps in the Apple App Store.

If your organization meets the definition of a “trader” and you wish to have your app available for download in the EU territories, you must declare your status as a trader.

Warning: Socie and Apple are unable to assess or declare your trader status on your behalf. You can review the self-assessment qualifications to determine whether you are eligible for the trader requirements here.

To declare your status as not a trader with the EU App Store:

Once complete, you have finished Apple’s compliance requirement.
