Within 5 business days, you will receive an email from Apple confirming your acceptance to the Apple Developer Program. This guide outlines the steps to complete your enrollment.
Note: Effective October 16, 2024, all app developers listed in the App Store must declare a trader status to comply with the European Union (EU) Digital Services Act. You must decide if you wish to declare as a trader with the EU App Store to continue submitting updates to your existing app or create a new app. Click here to learn more.
Finalizing the Enrollment
Tip: If you have any difficulties or questions while setting up your Apple Developer account, please visit Apple’s Support page.
- Once Apple accepts your application, you will receive an email with the subject “Continue your Developer Program enrollment.”
- Review and accept the “Program License Agreement.” For help, see here.
- After completing Apple’s enrollment, navigate to your Apple Developer account.
- On the left side of the screen, select the Membership tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and check the box labeled Auto-Renew Membership.
Note: If you are unable to auto-renew your membership, please reach out to Apple Support.
- The Automatic Program Membership Renewal form will appear. Check the box at the bottom of the form, then click Submit to accept the terms.
Tip: We recommend enabling the Automatic Renewal feature to reduce the risk of your membership expiring without your knowledge. If your membership expires, Apple may temporarily remove your app from the App Store until it is renewed.
